The Fashion Design Institute (Düsseldorf location) has been officially recognized as a new vocational supplementary school by the Düsseldorf District President in accordance with Section 118 (1) of the North Rhine-Westphalia School Act (Schulgesetz NRW) in a decision dated August 3, 2018. The district government of Cologne recognized the educational courses (International Fashion Designer and Journalist, as well as Fashion Marketing and Management) according to § 2 para. 2 BAföG.

The degrees awarded by the EIDM in Paris as French state-recognized vocational education qualifications correspond to level II of the RCNP as the French reference framework and thus level 6 of the European Reference Framework (EQF). They are awarded after the acquisition of 180 CP. They are not French university degrees, but vocational degrees recognized by the French Ministry of Labor, Full Employment and Professional Integration.

The degrees awarded by Ferrari Fashion School in Milan for the Bachelor's degree programs in Fashion Design and Fashion Business & Digital Marketing are recognized by the Region of Lombardy according to the accreditation certificate of the University of Teesside and are included in the list of training providers accredited by the Region of Lombardy according to D.G.R. N. 2412 of 26.10.2011 and implementing regulations.
