Das Fashion Design Institut (Standort Düsseldorf) ist, mit Bescheid vom 03. August 2018 durch den Regierungspräsidenten Düsseldorf nach § 118 Abs. 1 des Schulgesetzes NRW als neue berufsbildende Ergänzungsschule staatlich anerkannt worden. Von der Bezirksregierung Köln wurden die Bildungsgänge (Internationaler Fashion Designer und -Journalist, sowie Fashion Marketing und -Management) gemäß § 2 Abs. 2 BAföG anerkannt.

Die Abschlüsse der EIDM in Paris als staatlich gelistete französische berufsbildende Bildungsabschlüsse entsprechen dem Niveau II des RNCP damit Level 6 des Europäischen Referenz-Rahmen (EQR). Sie werden nach Erwerb von 180 CP verliehen. Es handelt sich nicht um französische Hochschulabschlüsse, sondern um breufsbildende Abschlüsse, die von der staatlichen Agentur France Compétence in das RNCP aufgenommen wurden.

Die Abschlüsse an der Ferrari Fashion School in Mailand angebotenen britischen Abschlüsse Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Modedesign und Fashion Business & Digital Marketing sind gemäß der Akkreditierungsbescheinigung der University of Teesside durch die Region Lombardei anerkannt und in der Liste der von der Region Lombardei gemäß D.G.R. akkreditierten Ausbildungsträger N. 2412 vom 26.10.2011 und Durchführungsverordnungen aufgeführt. Es handelt sich um britische Bachelor Abschlüsse der University of Teesside, auf deren Verleihung durch die University of Tensside die Ferrari Fashion School vorbereitet.
