The diploma students of the Fashion Design Institute present their work to an international fashion audience.
The current final collections of the Fashion Design Institute were given the chance to make a grand entrance during the July edition of Paris Fashion Week 2022: the graduates show their creations to an international audience of experts at the Galerie Bourbon.
Paris Fashion Week is considered one of the most important dates in the calendar of fashion designers and fashion lovers worldwide - and of course also for all students, faculty and staff of the Fashion Design Institute. Many international designers have settled in Paris and have been creating fashion for the next season here for decades. Even if New York Fashion Week is older - Paris Fashion Week is still considered the unmissable meeting point for fashion while Paris-based fashion designers in particular more often skip Fashion Weeks in other countries to focus entirely on Paris.
La Galerie Bourbon is a very special venue in Paris, just a stone's throw from the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysées. This is the former Paris residence of the Spanish royal family, and the place is still full of elegance. Careful restoration allows stained glass windows, moldings and gold-leaf ceilings to still dream of the grandeur of the place, and yet at the same time the interior reflects our modern world. For the Fashion Design Institute, La Galerie Bourbon is just the right place to present the final projects of its graduating students during Paris Fashion Week on July 03, 2022.
