A new atelier complex of the French fashion house Chanel has opened in Paris. It is called le19M and is home to 11 Chanel-owned craft workshops:
Embroidery workshop Lesage, hat manufacturer Maison Michel, jewelry company Goossens, feather manufacturer Lemarié, shoe workshop Massaro, Lognon pleating studio, Eres underwear manufacturer and other companies that produce handmade products.
The students of the Fashion Design Institute were able to get a taste of the embroidery techniques of Chanel Atelier, gather creative and modern ideas at the exhibition and view some haute couture pieces up close.
